I got a new lens today, its a 50mm f1.8 from Canon. I would have prefered the f1.4, but that's a bit too rich for my blood and realisticly I don't need that much lens for my purposes. The new lens coupled with me getting a bit more comfortable using a DSLR have turned out a much better representation of color.
