[WIP] Harlequin Voidweaver

I've been getting some work done on the Voidweaver.  I am really enjoying this process with the model in pieces.

I've finally found some more motivation to finish my Harlequins, new Eldar!  I am so psyched about the new models.  Expect a lot of Jetbikes in my future.

[WIP] Harlequin Starweavers

Work ran a bit late today, so I didn't get nearly as much done as I would like.  Doing two models this size at once is nice, but also frustrating.

The black is not coming out like I wanted.  I'll have to do some more layers to get the smoothness I desire.  I think the red and blue are coming along well.  I'm not sure when I want to dive into some diamonds.  I might just save it towards the end.

[WIP] Harlequin Starweavers

I was not nearly as productive as I wanted today.  I did mange to assemble the majority of the two remaining Starweavers.  It's a minimal build as to facilitate painting them.  I took lessons learned from the first Starweaver to get this build.  This should allow me to paint the model easier and more importantly faster.

Picking up some extra hours of work will make my bank account happy, but cut into my painting time.  Hopefully, I can get some motivation after work tomorrow to get some base-coating done on these guys.

Quick Update Storm Guardians and Weapon Crewman

I've been lacking both time and motivation for painting the last few weeks.  I did have time to finish this crewman for my D-Cannon Battery and some Storm Guardians.  I decided to work on some of the least important models I have.

The very concept of Storm Guardians is laughable.  Back in 2nd edition adding some close combat and close range specialty weapons was just part of a Guardian squad.  When 3rd spun them off on their own it got worse and worse with every rendition of them.  I went for an exaggerated poses for these guys.  I have 6 more getting their paint stripped right now.  Not sure how motivated I am going to be to even get past priming them though.  My table is full of recently stripped Pathfinders and some grav weapons.  My new items cannot come in the mail any quicker.

Work Table Update

As you can see, there are a number of projects on my painting table.  I still have the remains of Jetbike-Palooza.  There is also a Falcon that I had put off for a bit seeing as they still are fairly crappy in the new Codex.  Unfortunately, I have 2 Falcons that I never see using except in huge Apocalypse scale games.  The final piece is the Fire Prism that came in the mail today.  It's unfortunate that the new parts of the kit are so great, whereas the rest is still using the very old Falcon chassis.

I have a feeling that the Fire Prism will be completed much sooner than later.  Maybe that will spurn me to finish the Falcon and start my OOP Fire Prism with the metal Prism Cannon.

Jetbike-Palooza Update

The Jetbike parking lot on my desk has gotten a bit smaller.  I finished the 3rd Jetlock yesterday and have been doing the finishing touches on the remaining bikes.  It's been raining everyday and been super humid every time I try to prime the Jetbike riders.  With myself being back in school this week I foresee my painting time to be diminished a bit.  I have tentatively slated Sunday as a big painting day, but who knows.

This is my Eldar display case.  It's getting a bit too full with everything I have painted in the last year or so.  I am seriously debating on picking up a second one.  It should be able to hold the vast majority of my Eldar models which I plan on having finished painting in another year or so.

Justin's Eldar Fire Prism (WIP)

Though classified as a WIP, still some cleaning up to do on the red paneling and more black-lining, I posted it due to Justin moving out of state in a week and just trying to get some of his work up before he leaves.
