Eldar Howling Banshee Squad

I finally finished the entire squad tonight.  I even started their bases as well.  I just wish my Scorpions would come out like these ladies did.  

Battletech Atlas

This is an Atlas I painted up in the colors of the 3rd Lyran Guards.  I have a whole company in these colors in various stages of completion.

Eldar Striking Scorpion

I'm not a huge fan of Scorpions, but I got a 6 man unit fairly cheap on ebay.  Not sure I like the way the armor looks.  The picture does not exactly do it justice to be honest.  Hopefully sometime tomorrow I can work up the will the finish the last 2 Banshees to finish that squad and get some pics up.

I don't really run Warlocks, that's Justin's deal.  I do have a few laying around though.  Maybe this will motivate me to get some Wraithguard.

Eldar Howling Banshee

I just picked a 6 man squad of Banshees off Ebay the other day.  They came in 3 days.  So I figured I got a fast delivery, might as well fast paint them.  Well at least one of them.

I started playing Eldar sometime around '96 or so.  I used Banshees quite a bit in 2nd edition.  When 3rd came out and I started playing Dark Eldar I traded or sold all my Eldar.  These are the first Banshees I've owned since then.  I really this sculpt out of the 3 versions.  

Interestingly enough, my old Banshees weak part was their hair.  And these Banshees I think a strong part is their hair.  At least it's my favorite part I painted.

Finished these guys a few weeks back, but I never got around to taking pics of them.  I really like how the highlighting came out on the metal bodies.  So much so I am applying the same technique to the Warriors I am working on and plan of going back and adding it the the already completed Warriors.  Hopefully in a few days I can finish my Night Scythe and gets some pics of it up.
