Empire Middenheim Demigryph Knight

My Empire army is Middenheim themed, but with black/purple/gold instead of the standard colors.  When the newest version of the army book came out I, like everyone else, saw how kick ass the Demigryphons were as a unit.  Even though I like the standard model I couldn't pass up doing a Middenheim giant wolf deal.  The wolf is from the Space Wolves Thunderwolf Cavalry kit.  The legs, torso, and spear are from the actual Demigryphon kit.  The shield, head, cape and shield arm are from the standard Empire Knight kit. I am fairly pleased with the end result.

Paint scheme wise this is my standard color combo for the rest of my Empire army.  The first pic is a much better representation of how the wolf looks.

Now if anyone wants to give me a 25 man Teutogen Guard unit that would be awesome.  Ebay prices for them are just insane.

Empire Reiksguard Reikscaptain

I had a ton of White Wolf Knights, but nothing to use as Reiksguard or vanilla knights.  So I decided to build a Reikguard unit.  I like how the colors of Reikland contrast the dark purple and black of the rest of my army. Never a fan of the plastic Empire Knights, but considering it is really the only option I have to live with them.

Eldar Dark Reaper Exarch

I found myself playing a lot of Dark Repaers the last half dozen games of 40k as part of an infantry heavy Footdar list.  I have 2 full squads painted, but this is an update the scheme.

Eldar Striking Scorpion Exarch

Finished the Exarch today.  I went a different direction with the armor with green highlighting.  I like it a lot better than the yellow style.

Eldar Eldrad Ulthran

I did some updating on ole Eldrad tonight.  I made him a bit brighter with some added wraithbone.  His initial paintjob, which is still a good portion of the model, was done initially back in '02 or so.
